Launched on Monday, the initiative aims to implement aesthetic upgrades designed to enhance the guest experience at the AAA Four-Diamond hotel. According to General Manager Steve Kalbaugh, the redesign draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the resort's surroundings.
Kalbaugh stated, “This cosmetic upgrade will modernize our guest rooms, drawing inspiration from the resort’s lush botanical gardens and organic materials.” “We are thrilled to unveil a new look that meets our guests’ expectations and offers an enhanced, AAA Four-Diamond experience.”
A Houston-based firm, Graniti Vicentia, has unveiled a redesign that weaves together botanical themes and organic elements, showcasing a fresh and innovative concept. The enhancements are designed to establish a setting that the hotel characterizes as both tranquil and timeless, infused with vibrant energy.
Exciting updates are on the horizon for the guestrooms, which will soon feature fresh carpeting, stylish new furniture, modern fixtures, and impressive 55-inch televisions. Bathrooms are set to receive an upgrade featuring vanity mirrors equipped with Bluetooth technology. In an exciting update, queen rooms are set to showcase new tubs and showerheads, while king rooms will be enhanced with walk-in showers.
Since its opening in 1999, the Moody Gardens Hotel has established itself as a premier destination, featuring over 400 guest rooms, an expansive 22,000 square feet of meeting space, a variety of dining options, and a comprehensive full-service spa. The property boasts a range of impressive amenities, highlighted by a spacious outdoor pool complete with a swim-up bar, an indoor lap pool, and an 18-hole golf course that promises to delight enthusiasts.
The hotel, situated next to the popular Moody Gardens attractions, including the Aquarium Pyramid, Rainforest Pyramid, Discovery Pyramid, and Palm Beach, has established itself as a favored spot for both leisure and business travelers.
