    Galveston County employees’ accrued time off is safe, for now

    County Judge Mark Henry and the four county commissioners voted Monday to defer a proposal to revise the county’s time-off policy. Commissioner Hank Dugie proposed the changes to unify the county’s time-off rules and save taxpayer money.
