A luxury yacht collided with Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas in the Port of Nassau.

If you're considering a cruise holiday from Galveston, Texas, or New Orleans, you're probably aware of Royal Caribbean's offers. Both ports are popular departure destinations, with Galveston offering a wider range of cruise lines. Among its prominent ships is the Allure of the Seas, which was previously based in Galveston but currently operates from the Port of Miami.
The Allure of the Seas made headlines last week after colliding unexpectedly in the Bahamas' port of Nassau. While docked, the enormous cruise liner was hit by a luxury boat, which Daniel McCurrie documented on film and later uploaded on YouTube. The clip shows the boat getting perilously near the motionless cruise liner before colliding. Another perspective on the event was shared on Facebook, providing a more complete picture of the occurrence.
Despite the incident, the Allure of the Seas was declared safe to continue its journey, departing Nassau slightly behind schedule.
According to reports, the ship had arrived in Miami or was on its way there by early morning. Fortunately, no injuries were recorded aboard either vessel.
As of writing, a number of Royal Caribbean vessel ships currently serve the Galveston, Texas port.
