Police have arrested 36-year-old Joshua Weeks in Alvin, Texas, for stealing a tractor and trailer. The Gulf Coast Auto Crimes Task Force led the investigation, which led to the discovery of the stolen goods in Sugar Land, Texas, and the arrest of Weeks.
Thievery happened in the 18000 block of County Road 154 on September 8, 2025, around 2:30 a.m. With assistance from residents and the Galveston County Precinct 1 Constable's Office, investigators determined that Weeks was the primary suspect in the incident. Detectives were also able to locate the suspect's car, a red pickup truck seen near the crime scene, thanks to surveillance video.
This incident happened because the Galveston County District Attorney's Office issued an arrest warrant for Weeks for theft of property worth between $30,000 and $150,000. Two hundred thousand dollars is his bond.
The case is still being investigated as authorities attempt to ensure that everyone responsible is held accountable. Weeks is currently in Galveston, awaiting further court hearings.
