Army Offers $10K Reward in Death of Texas-Native Black Hawk Pilot in Honduras

The Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has announced a reward of $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for the death of 1st Lt. Marciano Parisano. The 25-year-old native of the Houston area passed away earlier this month while on deployment in Honduras.

Parisano, who graduated from West Point in 2023, was actively serving as a UH-60 Black Hawk pilot with the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment at Soto Cano Air Base. This base is known as the home of Joint Task Force-Bravo, which serves as the U.S. military’s primary expeditionary force in Central and South America.

Army officials report that Parisano was last captured on surveillance footage at approximately 3:20 a.m. on May 2, outside Club Santos in Comayagua, Honduras.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death and are calling on the public for assistance. Anyone with credible information is encouraged to reach out to the Criminal Investigation Division at (912) 547-4626 or through WhatsApp at (571) 656-7842. Individuals are encouraged to submit information anonymously at cid.army.mil/tips.

Hailing from Cibolo, Texas, located near Houston, Parisano had recently entered into an engagement. His family characterized him as a figure of compassion and joy. In a poignant announcement, Tom and Jessie Parisano expressed that their son "touched the hearts of everyone who crossed his path."

“No words can adequately convey the profound nature of our sorrow,” they stated. “Marco represented more than simply our child; he was a radiant presence in our lives.”

The Houston-area community stands united with the Parisano family in their quest for justice and clarity as the investigation progresses. They express a collective hope that someone will step forward to assist in resolving this difficult situation and to pay tribute to the legacy of a young soldier who served with dedication and passion.
