The Galveston Government Employees Credit Union (GGECU) was broken into on October 30, and an unknown amount of cash was stolen. The police in La Marque are currently investigating the crime. The event happened around 2:00 a.m. when unknown people broke into the credit union without permission.
The Criminal Investigation Division of the La Marque Police Department is handling the case. It is looking for any clues that could help it find the criminals. Investigators have not said how many people they think may have been involved.
With the help of GGECU, a prize of up to $10,000 is offered for information that leads to the arrest or capture of criminals.
