A proposal for a master-planned community in Texas City was recently presented to the City Commission. The project, called Latitude Margaritaville Galveston Bay, is being developed by Minto Communities.

The community is intended for residents 55 and older and is inspired by singer-songwriter Jimmy. It would be the first of its kind in Texas for the Latitude Margaritaville brand.
